We had a pretty great day in Grade 4/5 today!  The students did a portion of their cumulative math exam on fractions; we need to focus on reading directions.  We also worked on our descriptive essays about our new school.  They have done a great job exploring our new space!

We have had a wonderful transition into our new school.  Procedures are falling into place and I could not be more proud of the way my students have managed with all of the changes.  They are such a great group of Kiddos!

Tuesday Times!

It is hard to believe we are finally in our beautiful new facility!  This new school is beyond our dreams; we are truly blessed. 


Please be mindful to check the blog daily.  It is a great way to keep up with what is going on in your child's school career. 


Homework and Reminders:

• All students must have indoor runners. a back pack, an agenda and a pencil case.  These are necessary for daily items.
• We are reviewing for our Math test on multiplication and decimals.
• New spelling Lesson #26; please practice.
• We are beginning a descriptive essay tomorrow.

Monday Moving Mania!

Hello Families!


Well the time has come and we are in our last 4 days at Scared Heart.  This just feels so sad, exciting, joyful and scary all at once.  We are truly blessed to be moving to our new facility but there is a closeness in our current home that I am praying can be replicated over there.


Please be reminded that our class is touring the new school promptly at 9:20 tomorrow morning so we need to come directly to our classroom for attendance and then we will head over. 


Please pray for a smooth transition for both students and staff!

Hello families!


We worked very hard today in Grade 4/5.  We have been working on decimals, reconciliation, The novel Loser, compound machines and levels of government.  Combine that with packing to move, liturgies, and everyday school activities and we have been BUSY!!!!

• Spelling test tomorrow Lesson 25
• Please wear gym clothes tomorrow as we will be at the soccer facility in the afternoon.

Hello Families!


What a lovely day!  We were able to spend some time today outside and it was so nice to feel the sunshine! Elder Mae spent the afternoon in our room and was so helpful with our Language Arts work!  Thank you Elder Mae!

Monday Blahs!

Hello families!


We had a rough start to our week; students were tired, without glasses and generally unresponsive to most learning and activities today.  It made for a very stressful and exhausting day for all of us. I need to encourage students to stay focused as we maneuver through our move to the new school and approach the Easter break.  There is still so much learning to be done and making sure we are ready to learn with glasses on and books in tow is paramount to success.

• Fines for library books sent home for those students with lost books
