Hello families!

We have had another very productive day in grade 5/6.

This morning we continued to work on our writing assessments.  I an so proud of the way the children were able to plan yesterday and write their rough draft today!  Ask your child what they wrote about.

This afternoon we participated in the Terry Fox run/walk.  It was a beautiful day for this.  As well, students were able to enter a draw to have one teacher in our school doused with a bucket of ice cold water.  For every "Toonie for Terry" they brought they received an entry.  The lucky teacher was......Mrs. Brassard!!!

Happy Friday!!!

Well another Friday has come our way! What a blessing to have such lovely weather.

We had a gorgeous walk to Mass today and such a great message was given to us by Father John.  Father told us a story about his car breaking down on the way to mass in Lumsden as a young priest.  It was a story similar to that of the Good Samaritan.  Ask your child what he said.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our St. Francis Family volunteers and the  CSCC for the amazing new playground that is going in this weekend.  If you have time to stop by, lend a hand or bring treats I'm sure they would be most grateful!
