What a beautiful day!  I hope all of my families have time this evening to enjoy a ball diamond, a soccer field or a football game! It is that time of year!

Chilly Day at the Track!

Tuesday!....where did the sun go?

Hello families!

Though it is near the end of the school year we are in the process of "beginning" a lot of project based learning.  At this point in the year students have learned so much that it is nice to see all of their skills brought together in some really creative projects! That being said, they are working on a French Travel Brochure, Applications for the House of 6 and the House of 7, and soon we will start a Saint research paper!  This combined with testing will surely make a busy year end!

Welcome to another week of school.  I hope many of you took in the 50th anniversary festivities. I also hope that my mom's enjoyed their mother's day gift!

Wednesday Items!

Hello Families.

Thank you so much for the ongoing support of your child's education.  It has been an ongoing effort to keep the students focused on the fact that there is still much learning to do.  I appreciate the support from home in this regard.

We are bust in class preparing for both our math and reading assessments. 

The students have questions in math that I give them off the board or in handout form. It is very important that they write these questions out completely in their notebooks so that they have the necessary tools to study.

Homework:

• We are still waiting for a couple of students to meet their AR goals so that Mr. Wahl can cook lunch for us! READ READ READ
• Please do your math review questions.
• Please get any unfinished work in so you get credit for it!

Things have been very busy with the Grade 5/6 class.  The students had two big projects due this week with both Inventor's Workshop and French!

Homework:

• Please do your math review questions that were written down from the board.
• Health was due today for Mrs. Keen. Many of you have not turned this in.
• French Presentations and those who have not done their simple machine presentation will be done tomorrow.
